Scott’s primary experience has been in traffic and transportation planning and engineering including project management and design of TDOT Roadway Design Division and Local Programs projects, municipal improvement projects, offsite private development improvements, including a wide variety of projects from local roads to interstate roadways and interchanges to modern roundabouts. Transportation planning experience includes Route/Alignment Studies, Road Safety Audits, Traffic Impact Studies, Functional Layouts, Transportation Planning Reports, and other traffic and planning report documents. Scott has been selected by FHWA as a Peer Expert for the Roundabout Peer to Peer program, and was selected by ITE to serve on the National ITE Roundabout Task Force. At a local level, Scott has served as President of the Middle Tennessee Section of American Society of Highway Engineers, served on two MDHA steering committees for development districts and streetscapes, and has served on the ReDiscover East! Streetscape, Traffic and Parking committee.
