Scotty Bernick joined RaganSmith as an intern in 2004, transitioning to a full-time employee in 2006. He holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Purdue.
Scott Bernick, known as Scotty to his friends, is one of the newest shareholders of RaganSmith. Scotty started as an intern with the company in 2004 and is now one of the key leaders of the Landscape Architecture department, excelling in land planning, site design, property entitlements, and project management. As part of the team who won the 2020 Heritage Foundation Preservation Award for Excellence in Infill in a Historic District in Franklin, TN, Scotty continues to represent RaganSmith as an industry expert.
A Purdue graduate, Scotty studied in Leeds, England during his college years. Now he resides in Franklin along with his wife, son and daughter. In his free time, he loves to offer a helping hand, is an avid DIY’er, and is currently trying to create a mini greenhouse in his front sitting room.
Little Known Fact
When Scotty was in high school, he took a 440cubic inch big block engine out of a motorhome and put it into his 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger.
