Hospital Corporation of America located their new corporate headquarters within the Gulch subdistrict in Nashville,TN. The initial phase of this plan was the development of a 460,000 square-foot office tower integrating 37,000 square feet of retail as part of Block A on the Capitol View Master Plan.

RaganSmith, Engineer of Record, worked with Gresham Smith to take the proposed development through the Downtown Review Committee and gain approval from the Master Developer for the construction of the tower. The development included a subgrade excavation package for a parking structure as well as speculative ground floor retail space for future tenants.
