The November 13, 2018, announcement of Amazon’s HQ2 selection of Nashville forever changed the trajectory of its urban center. Nashville Yards develops a mixed-use community defined by modern structures that create a walkable live/work/play lifestyle centered around Nashville’s culture of education, the arts, and entertainment. In total, the project’s master plan calls for more than 4 million square feet of new construction that will be environmentally sustainable, technologically advanced, and extraordinarily service oriented. 

RaganSmith was responsible for the coordination and design of the infrastructure to serve each phase of this multi-level community with the utilities necessary to support the vertical development. This included coordination with various Metro and State approval authorities to gain concept plan support as well as the detailed design necessary to work within an urban street network.
