RaganSmith provided land surveying, civil engineering design, and permitting services for the redevelopment of the 58-acre Christ Presbyterian Academy campus to incorporate the Fine Arts Building and new quad space. RaganSmith also assisted the team with masterplanning efforts.
The redevelopment came with challenges as there was a need to keep a portion of the campus running while construction was underway. In particular, a new parking area was needed before demo could occur on the main parking and loading/unloading area for the campus. This site also involved a great deal of planning for the stormwater and utility infrastructure keeping the future masterplan in mind. Efforts were made to (1) work with the infrastructure already in place and (2) minimize utility relocation with future expansion.
