Project Info

Performed a regional feasibility and planning study to evaluate potential bikeways, trails and multi-use routes in the North Georgia portion of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County / North Georgia TPO for the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission . This study is an important step in optimizing the value of emerging multi-modal transportation networks in the region and for creating a regional plan for bike and pedestrian connectivity. The plan facilitates inter-connections between several communities and provides recommendations on implementation to create a triple bottom line analysis of the proposed plan and strategies utilizing multi-use funding opportunities in the study area. This project was an 80/20 grant project that was funded by the Lynhurst Foundation.
